Korean Home Terms & Conditions
Â
Last Updated: August 2026
Thank you for choosing Korean Home. By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to the policies that apply to your order, including payment, COD, parcel inspection, delivery, returns and complaints.
Korean Home is a seller and distributor of authentic Korean beauty products. We are not the manufacturer of the products we sell.
1. Important COD Notice — Please Read Before Ordering
COD NOTICE: A PKR 500 advance is required for eligible COD orders. Standard COD parcels cannot be opened or inspected before payment. If you require pre-payment inspection, you must request it and receive written approval from Korean Home before placing the order. If a COD parcel is returned due to a customer-side issue, the PKR 500 advance is non-refundable and may be applied toward applicable forward and return courier charges.
This COD notice is intended to be displayed at checkout and/or in the order confirmation so that these material conditions are communicated before the customer commits to the order.
2. Products & Skin Compatibility
We provide available product descriptions, ingredients, usage information and other product details to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and product information and deciding whether a product is suitable for their individual needs, skin type, and known allergies.
Individual skin reactions, irritation, sensitivity or incompatibility are not considered product defects. If you have a known allergy, highly sensitive skin or a medical skin condition, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using a new skincare product.
For questions about ingredients, expiry/remaining shelf life, packaging, authenticity or product condition, customers should contact Korean Home before dispatch. We will clarify the information available to us.
3. Order Placement & Customer Information
Customers must provide a complete and accurate name, active phone number and delivery address when placing an order.
For schools, colleges, hospitals, offices, hostels or shared premises where parcels may be received by security, administrative staff or another person, customers are responsible for making suitable arrangements for receipt.
Korean Home may contact the customer to verify an order, address, payment or other necessary information before dispatch. Failure to provide required confirmation may delay or prevent dispatch.
4. Payment Methods
4.1 Advance Payment
Customers may pay the full order amount in advance through the payment methods made available by Korean Home. Customers should verify payment/account details before making a transfer.
Advance-paid orders are normally dispatched after payment confirmation and according to the applicable delivery schedule.
4.2 Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is available only for eligible customers and eligible orders, at Korean Home’s discretion and subject to the conditions stated on the website or communicated before dispatch.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or communicated before dispatch, COD may be available to eligible new customers for orders above PKR 2,000 and below PKR 10,000.
A PKR 500 advance is required for eligible COD orders. The PKR 500 advance is adjusted against the total order amount when the parcel is successfully received, and the remaining balance is collected through COD.
COD orders may take longer to deliver than advance-paid orders.
5. PKR 500 COD Advance & Customer-Side Returns
Where COD is offered and a PKR 500 advance is required, the customer will be informed before dispatch and the requirement should also be displayed at checkout/order confirmation.
The PKR 500 advance is allocated as follows:
- PKR 250 toward the forward/dispatch courier charge; and
- PKR 250 toward the return courier charge/security associated with a COD parcel that is returned.
If the parcel is successfully delivered and the customer completes the COD payment, the PKR 500 advance is treated as part of the total order payment and is deducted from the remaining balance.
If the parcel is returned due to a customer-side reason, the PKR 500 advance is non-refundable and may be retained toward the applicable forward and return courier charges. Packaging, handling and administrative costs may also be incurred by Korean Home.
Customer-side reasons may include, without limitation:
- refusing or failing to accept the parcel;
- refusing to make the required COD payment;
- being unavailable to receive the parcel after reasonable delivery attempts;
- asking the rider/courier to return later or otherwise causing a failed delivery;
- providing an incorrect, incomplete or unverifiable address or phone number;
- failing to coordinate with the courier; or
- declining to accept the parcel because pre-payment inspection/opening was expected without having obtained prior approval.
6. COD Parcel Opening & Pre-Payment Inspection
6.1 Standard COD Procedure
For standard COD deliveries, the parcel must remain sealed until the required COD payment has been completed. Customers may not open, cut, unseal, tamper with or inspect the contents of a COD parcel before payment.
Where permitted by the courier, the customer may visually inspect the outside of the parcel for obvious external damage. External inspection does not permit opening the parcel or checking the product contents.
6.2 Request for Inspection Before Payment
If a customer requires the parcel to be opened or its contents inspected before making payment, the customer must request this before placing the order or, at the latest, before dispatch.
The customer must receive written confirmation from Korean Home that the special inspection arrangement has been approved. A courier rider cannot independently authorize a pre-payment inspection.
Any approved inspection arrangement remains subject to the operational rules and agreement of the courier. If no arrangement has been confirmed in writing before dispatch, the standard COD procedure applies and the parcel must remain sealed until payment.
7. COD Delivery, Refusal & Courier Status
A customer’s request for information, clarification or a genuine complaint is not, by itself, treated as a refusal to pay.
However, if a customer declines to accept a COD parcel because they are unwilling to complete the required payment without opening/inspecting the parcel, and no pre-approved inspection arrangement exists, the courier may return the parcel according to its delivery procedure.
If a courier tracking status is disputed, Korean Home may review the matter using available tracking information, delivery records and communications. Customers should contact Korean Home promptly if they believe a courier status does not accurately reflect what occurred.
8. Delivery by Courier
Korean Home uses third-party courier services for deliveries in Pakistan. Once a parcel is handed over to the courier, certain aspects of delivery timing and handling are outside Korean Home’s direct control.
Customers are expected to cooperate with the courier and remain available to receive their order. Where a delivery attempt fails for a customer-side reason, the parcel may be returned and the applicable policy in these Terms & Conditions will apply.
9. Damaged, Leaked, Broken, Missing or Incorrect Products
Customers should record the condition of the parcel and make a continuous, clear and unedited unboxing video beginning before opening the parcel and continuing until the contents have been fully revealed. The video should clearly show the parcel, shipping label and opening process.
A genuine concern regarding a damaged, broken, leaked, missing or materially incorrect product must be reported within 12 hours of delivery, together with the required evidence.
Photos alone may not be sufficient to establish a shipping or packing claim. Without appropriate unboxing evidence, Korean Home may be unable to determine whether an issue occurred before, during or after delivery.
Korean Home will review the complaint and determine whether the issue is attributable to shipping, Korean Home or another cause.
If the issue is verified as attributable to Korean Home or an approved shipping claim, an appropriate resolution may be offered, including replacement, refund or another resolution. Where a return is required, the customer must send the product back first.
Korean Home currently does not provide a pickup service for returns. Any approved refund or compensation will be processed after the returned parcel is received and reviewed, subject to the applicable resolution.
10. Outer Packaging Damage
Minor dents, pressure marks, wrinkles, crumpling or other cosmetic damage to outer courier packaging may occur during transportation. Such external packaging damage does not automatically qualify for a refund or replacement where the actual product remains undamaged.
11. Authenticity Concerns
Korean Home stands behind the authenticity of products sold through its website. If a customer has a genuine authenticity concern, the customer should contact Korean Home within the applicable complaint period with the relevant details and supporting evidence.
Korean Home may investigate using available sourcing, batch, product, packing and dispatch information.
12. Expiry & Remaining Shelf Life
If a customer has a specific concern regarding expiry date or remaining shelf life, the customer should ask Korean Home before dispatch.
Korean Home will provide the expiry/shelf-life information available to us. A product being relatively close to expiry does not automatically qualify for a return or refund unless the product fails to meet a specific shelf-life representation made by Korean Home.
13. Clearance, Short-Date & Special-Price Items
Clearance, short-date and specially discounted items are FINAL SALE unless otherwise stated in writing by Korean Home.
No return, refund or exchange is available for these items solely because of change of mind, personal preference, wrong product selection or individual skin incompatibility.
Customers should clarify any questions regarding expiry, shelf life, packaging, ingredients or product condition before dispatch.
14. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Returns, refunds or exchanges are not available solely because a customer changes their mind, has a personal preference, selects the wrong product, or experiences individual skin incompatibility.
Products that have been opened, used, altered or tampered with are not eligible for return unless specifically approved by Korean Home or where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any approved return must be sent back by the customer first, according to the return instructions provided by Korean Home.
15. Returned Parcels & Re-Dispatch
A parcel returned by the courier because of a customer-side issue is not automatically eligible for re-dispatch on COD.
If the customer requests re-dispatch of a returned order, Korean Home may require applicable delivery, return and re-dispatch charges to be paid in advance.
A previously returned COD order will be re-dispatched only against complete advance payment; COD will not be available for that re-dispatch.
Re-dispatch is subject to product availability and confirmation by Korean Home.
16. Complaint Period
Customers should report any order issue as soon as possible after delivery. Claims concerning damaged, leaked, broken, missing or incorrect products must be reported within 12 hours of receipt with the required evidence, such as opening video proof.
Complaints submitted after the applicable period may not be accepted because evidence may no longer be sufficient and courier investigations may no longer be possible.
17. Parcel Records, Tampering & Fraud Prevention
For the protection of customers and Korean Home, we may maintain packing records, parcel-weight records, dispatch records, photographs/videos and other relevant order records.
Returning a different, used, missing or unrelated item instead of the original product is considered misuse of the return process and will not qualify for a refund.
Suspected fraudulent, repeated abusive or intentionally misleading activity may result in cancellation of orders and restriction of future COD or service access.
18. Customer Communication & Conduct
Customers are responsible for providing an active phone number and checking communications relating to their order.
Korean Home is committed to handling genuine complaints professionally and fairly. Customers are welcome to raise concerns and request an investigation where they believe an order, delivery, payment or courier record is incorrect.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate communication toward Korean Home staff, representatives or courier personnel will not be tolerated.
Korean Home reserves the right to decline or restrict service where there is a reasonable concern regarding fraud, repeated misuse, payment or delivery issues.
19. Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order
Korean Home may refuse or cancel an order where there is a reasonable concern regarding fraudulent or suspicious activity, repeated returned orders, incorrect or unverifiable information, abusive conduct, repeated COD failures, non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions, or another circumstance creating an unreasonable risk to Korean Home or its delivery partners.
Where an order is cancelled by Korean Home, the applicable payment/refund treatment will depend on the circumstances and the payment method used.
20. Website Policies, Checkout Information & Updates
These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the information displayed on the Korean Home website, including checkout notices, order confirmations, shipping information, returns/refunds information, privacy policy and other applicable notices.
Where a material payment, COD, inspection or delivery condition applies to an order, Korean Home should communicate that condition before or at the time the customer places the order, including through checkout and/or order confirmation where applicable.
Korean Home may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will apply prospectively from the date they are published, unless otherwise stated.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order through the Korean Home website, the customer confirms that they have had an opportunity to review the applicable Terms & Conditions and agrees to follow the payment, COD, inspection, delivery, return and complaint procedures stated here and in the applicable checkout/order information.
Any special arrangement relating to pre-payment inspection, payment or delivery must be confirmed by Korean Home in writing before dispatch. Customers should not rely on an arrangement that has not been confirmed.
If a matter is not specifically addressed in these Terms & Conditions, Korean Home may review the circumstances individually and communicate the applicable resolution to the customer.
